United Wells is one of the nation’s major sources of new and reconditioned replacement parts for slow-speed integral gas engines and compressors. United Industries, Inc. was incorporated in 1971 and United Industries purchased Wells Compression in 1984. Our companies were established to meet the needs of the gas processing and transmission industry. Our primary goal has always been to be a complete service center for our industry. We are the largest after-market manufacturer of replacement parts for reciprocating engines and compressors produced originally by Clark, Ingersoll-Rand, Cooper, Worthington, Ajax, Nordberg, DeLaval, Joy, White-Superior, and other major models. Our business philosophy is based on the total concept idea, which means that all of our products are compatible and that we provide products, services and support for the gas, processing, transmission, and related industries. We are staffed and equipped to perform every known function in manufacturing, repair, and maintenance of integral gas compressors and engines. These areas include new manufacturing power and replacements, compressor and parts, bearings and bushings, manifolds and fabrication, valve train components, repair, and mechanical maintenance and field service.
